TROYA VIOGNIER
Although it is a grape originally from the Rhône Valley, in the south of France, the La Mancha terroir—with its sun and fluctuating temperatures—has transformed its delicate profile into something much more structured and exuberant. In the 1960s, this variety was on the verge of extinction, but it eventually spread to regions of Australia, California, and Spain; wine truly surprises. It has volume and unctuousness, yet remains light, coating the palate with a very fresh texture. The finish is long, with a slight final bitterness—characteristic of the variety—that invites you to keep drinking.
